Unboxing and Getting the Printer Ready
Opening the Cardboard Box
After receiving the package, make sure that you are opening the box the correct way. There are shipping labels and a warning sticker on the package. Place the package on the floor and cut open the tape on top. The package contains all the accessories on top and the printer below them.
Accessories
Included in the box:
- Power supply
- Power cord
- Stylus (can be used to operate the touch screen more easily)
- Hex key set:
- 1.5mm
- 2mm
- 2.5mm
- 3mm
- Spatula set (used to remove printed parts and clean the build plate)
- Two build plates: The standard Manu Easy polypropylene Build plates (food-safe)
Opening the First Layer of the Box
- Collect the accessories.
- Lift out the top cover foam.
Lifting Out the Printer
Note about packaging: Save the product packaging and protection foams in case of warranty services.
The printer frame has packaging foam with cutouts [1.] carry handle holes [2.], and from where it’s possible to grab the machine and pull it out without pulling out the foam pieces [3.].
It’s recommended to have two people to help with lifting it out as it weighs close to 30kg.
Removing Transport Packaging Tape
Red tape has been placed for safe transportation. Remove the red tape.
Arm Unpackaging
Slide the arm head manually to the middle from [1.] to position [2.] on the top of the printer.
It’s important to move the arm head to the safe [2] position before further processing.
Connect your power plug [2.] on the receptacle [1.] facing the flat side toward the back of the printer. Press the power switch [3.] to turn on the machine.
To turn off the power, just press the switch in the off-position [4.]. To remove the power plug, make sure to pull it from the connector frame, not from the wire (it has a strain relief safety lock).
Connecting Power
Connect your power plug [2.] on the receptacle [1.] facing the flat side toward the back of the printer. Press the power switch [3.] to turn on the machine.
To turn off the power, just press the switch in the off-position [4.]. To remove the power plug, make sure to pull it from the connector frame, not from the wire (it has a strain relief safety lock).
How the Rotation Function Works
To face nozzle up:
- Open the lever.
- Hold the printer head from the middle and rotate the whole cylinder clockwise direction.
To face nozzle down:
Hold the printer head from the middle and rotate the whole cylinder counterclockwise direction.
Lock the lever.

While not printing, rotate the nozzle to point up.
